Evidence You Need to Provide
To determine whether or not your disorder meets the requirements for Social Security disability benefits, the Social Security Administration needs you to provide a lab report of the definitive test which documents the disorder. This report needs to be signed by a physician.
If you do have the lab report but it is not signed by a physician, you will need to provide a secondary report from a physician that states you, indeed, have the disorder.
If you have not conducted the appropriate testing to definitively diagnose your condition, you will need to provide medical or nonmedical evidence that highlights your development and functioning.
